Ford Mustang Mach-E vs. Tesla
In the world of electric cars, Tesla seems to be the front runner when it comes to luxury, innovation, and amazing features, but that could change this year with the release of the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV. Meeting the price point needs of the mid-market, this new take on the Ford Mustang will make some top of the line electric features available to a larger number of car shoppers.
There are some burning questions that we get to answer for car enthusiasts as well. Such as, “Will the Mustang Mach-E have autopilot?” or “What luxury and unique features can we expect to see with this vehicle?”
2021 Mustang Mach-E Specs
The 2021 Mustang Mach-E has some amazing specifications that have never been seen on a Mustang before. Some Mustang purists would say that this is not actually a Mustang but we are excited about the Mach-E anyway.
How Far Can The Mach-E Go?
This exciting new electric car can go for up to 300 miles on a single charge. That does vary based on what model you end up getting. The more torque or horsepower you get with the electric engine, the less distance you will get. The standard version will go 300 miles and there is an extended life battery available as well. When it comes to charging the Mach-E, you can charge it anywhere you can charge a Tesla or other electric/hybrid cars.
Will The Mustang Mach-E Have Autopilot?
Will the Mustang Mach-E have autopilot? Yes, this new model will have what the company is referring to as a hands-free driving mode. It also has a Tesla-like tablet that gives you a large view of everything going on. With smartphone integration, you will be able to sync your phone and iCloud.
How Many Seats Does The Mach-E Have?
One unique feature is the truck space. Because the engine is placed near the rear axle, the trunk space is in the front of the car. This allows for more space to be allocated to comfortable seating for five people.
Ford Mustang Mach-E 0 – 60 Time
Since it is a Mustang we were happy to see that the acceleration can still go from 0-60 in six seconds or less depending on the model. The fastest model is the GT with an acceleration of 0-60 in three seconds.
How Much is the Mustang Mach-E?
One of the aspects that allow the Mustang Mach-E to compete with Tesla is the price point. While Tesla automobiles are not something that many people can realistically afford, Ford wants to open the market to a larger population.
