If you’ve been thinking about jumping into a Hyundai Santa Fe, it’s time to take the leap! The 2021 Santa Fe refresh brings big changes to the exterior, interior updates, and more. Flint Hills Auto is excited to offer this crossover SUV once it becomes available later in the year.
While it’s not the only thing that matters, style does count when it comes to buying a new car. The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe’s makeover has taken the look up a few notches with a grille that spans the entire front end and has newly styled headlights attached. The daytime running lights make a vertical cut through the headlights for a unique look.
The rear end got a refresh as well. The appearance of the front is mimicked in the rear with a thin light bar that connects the taillights.
The Santa Fe refresh will remind some of the award-winning Hyundai Palisade.
The final color palette has not yet been released, but we do know there will be additional color choices from what was available on the 2020 model.
What’s On the Inside Counts
The interior also calls to mind the Palisade, and it makes the Santa Fe feel much roomier.
A beautifully redesigned center console has been placed much higher in the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. This creates a spacious feel, so drivers and passengers won’t get the sense of being cramped.
The infotainment touchscreen gets a bump from 8” to 10.25”, and it is fully operated via the screen, thus eliminating physical buttons. This lends to the overall sleeker look of the cabin.
The HVAC controls are found in the center console, and the gears are operated with a push-button selector, which further serves to declutter the cabin.
The materials used have also been upgraded, and the finishes feel much more luxurious than you’d expect at the estimated $27,000 starting price.
It’s the Whole Package
Head turning looks, a beautiful interior, and improved performance—the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe really is the whole package! Details of the engine have not been officially released, but there are a few things we know. An update to insulation equipment minimized vibration and a ventilation system makes airflow in the engine bay more efficient.
Better handling comes via the decision to create a lower center of gravity by relocating some components to the lowest part of the chassis. Will there be a hybrid? Right now it looks like there may be a hybrid version for the European buyers but not in the U.S.
